Dental Crowns

When teeth break or become structurally weakened due to an excessive loss of tooth structure, a crown may be required. When this is required, the tooth is prepared in such a way as to allow a restoration to completely encase and protect the tooth from further damage. Today dental crowns can look very natural and give strength to the tooth. Advancement in materials now allows almost any tooth to be restored with crowns that do not contain any metals. In our office we also utilize Itero digital impressions. From these digital impressions an exact replicas of your teeth are then custom milled using computer CAD/CAM technology. These images are made using light, not from “gaggy” viscous materials loaded into bulky trays. This means that there are no long messy uncomfortable impressions. We can also use this technology for implants and veneers.
